LOOKING FOR ALASKA

Looking For Alaska by John Green introduces us to Miles Halter, a young boy who opts out of his ordinary, uneventful life by deciding to attend a boarding school in Alabama. He has a great interest in the lives of famous people, particularly when it comes to their their last words. Leaving his home in Florida for the world of Culver Creek Preparatory High School is his way of looking for great opportunities.Here he meets his roommate, Chip Martin, a poor prankster whose mission is to make the lives of his rich classmates difficult. Miles also meets Alaska Young, a beautiful, enigmatic and emotionally troubled young woman who captures both his imagination and his heart.
