This work introduces young readers to the world of computers and information and communication technology. It includes tips on how children can make the most of the technology available to them with emphasis put on practical use and how to stay safe in the process. Each title includes clearly labelled illustrations and photos, a glossary and pronunciation guide for technical vocabulary to aid ICT literacy. 'Stay Safe' sections provide easy to understand rules for staying safe online and when using electrical equipment, including recommended websites/hotlinks access. Activity boxes provide plenty of opportunities to practice new skills.
